Use this page while:
- Posting Data for a Process Based on a BDC Script Template
- Posting Data for a Process Based on a GUI Script Template
- Posting Data for a Process Based on a BAPI
- Posting Data for a Process Based on an RFC
To access this page:
- Click Integrate > Categories on Navigation pane.
- Click the Processes icon for a category.
- Click the Postings icon for a process.
- Click the View Messages icon.
Field | Description |
MESSAGE ID | Displays the ID of the message generated by Integrate during the posting process. |
COMPONENT | Displays the name of the WebApp that contains the data to post. |
TEMPLATE ID | Displays the name of the template used in the process post. |
CONNECTION ID | Displays the ID of the target system connection used in the posting. A Process Designer can reuse a process template by adding connections to load programs for multiple target systems to a single process template. Data can then be posted to these target systems sequentially. Refer to Post Data to Multiple Target Systems with One Process Template for more information. |
RECORD ID | Displays the number of the record affected. |
PRIMARY KEY | Displays the primary key for the view attached to the template for the process post. |
MESSAGE | Displays the message returned from SAP for the record in the data set. |
MESSAGE TYPE | Displays the message type. Values are Success or Failure. |
RECORD SUCCESS | Displays the overall status resulting from the posting of a record. Values are Success and Failure. |
COMMENT | Displays the Comment value passed into the Integrate Posting logic. This value can be set on the Advanced tab of the Process Post page’s Vertical View when adding the process post. |
ADDED BY | Displays the user name of the user who posted the process, |
ADDED ON | Displays the date and time the process post was posted. |
Debug | Click to view the Debug script. This option is available for GUI Scripts only. Integrate creates the debug script if the Create GUI Debug Script check box is enabled for the process post. This setting is configured on the Advanced tab of the Process PostVertical View. |
File | Click to open the Message File page to download the message file with a complete list of all messages for the process post. |

Description
Message Details
Message ID
Displays the ID of the message generated by Integrate during the posting process.
Component
Displays the name of the WebApp that contains the data to post.
Template ID
Displays the name of the template used in the process post.
Record ID
Displays the number of the record affected.
Primary Key
Displays the primary key for the view attached to the template for the process post.
Message
Displays the message returned from SAP for the record in the data set.
Message Type
Displays the message type.
Record Success
Displays the overall status resulting from the posting of a record. Values are Success and Failure.
Comment
Displays the Comment value passed into the Integrate Posting logic. This value can be set on the Advanced tab of the Process Post page’s Vertical View when adding the process post.
Return Values
Return Value1
Displays the first return value for the process post record and used with transaction stringing. SAP returns up to four return values which are different based on the transaction code.
Return Value2
Displays the second return value for the process post record and used with transaction stringing. SAP returns up to four return values which are different based on the transaction code.
Return Value3
Displays the third return value for the process post record and used with transaction stringing. SAP returns up to four return values which are different based on the transaction code.
Return Value4
Displays the fourth return value for the process post record and used with transaction stringing. SAP returns up to four return values which are different based on the transaction code.
