Copy a Role

A Designer has the ability to copy a role for the purpose of creating and editing a new role.

When a role is copied, the currently assigned tasks, dependencies and role conflicts are assigned to the new role.

A role can be copied whether it is active or not.

Once the new role is created, it can be modified.

To copy a role:

  1. SelectdspConduct **> Design** in the *Navigation* pane.

  2. Click the Roles icon for a category.

  3. Click Vertical View for a role.

  4. Click the Copy Options tab.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. Enter a name in the New Role Name field.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Click the Copy icon; a confirmation message displays.

  9. Click OK.

The new role displays on the Role page.
