Add Report Types

Report types are used on the Target Reports and Target Source Reports pages to categorize reports. The Report Type is set using the REPORT TYPE list box.

Transform is delivered with report types that cannot be edited or deleted. These types are further categorized as Display and Error reports.

Report types can be added and can also be categorized as a Display report or an Error report.

Display reports can be accessed by clicking the > next to Reports in the Navigation pane, then clicking Target (Info) or Source (Info).

Error reports can be accessed by clicking the > next to Reports in the Navigation pane, then clicking Target (Errors) or Source (Errors).

To add a Report Type in Transform:

  1. Select Configuration > Setup > Report Types (Setup) in the Navigation pane.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter the report type name in the REPORT TYPE list box.

    NOTE: This name displays as an option in the REPORT TYPE list box on the Targets and Target Sources page.

  4. Click the IS ERROR check box if the Report Type should be identified as an Error report.

  5. Click the DISPLAY check box if the Report Type should be identified as an Info report.

  6. Click Save.
