Encrypt Password for CranSoft Data Source

To enable encryption for a component, the CranSoft Data Source password must be encrypted in System Administration.

To encrypt CranSoft Data Source password:

Select Admin > Data Sources in the Navigation pane.

Click Encryption for the CranSoft DATA SOURCE NAME.

NOTE: By default, the DataSourceColumnEncryption table is shipped with records for the following table names and the corresponding column names for the CranSoft DataSource.


TABLE NAME	COLUMN NAME	KEY ID
DataSource	Password	System Administration Passwords
DataSourceInstance	Password	System Administration Passwords
User	Password	System Administration Passwords

Click Encryption button to enable encryption for the TABLE NAME.
