Post Adapter
Use this page to Monitor Posts.
To access this page:
- Select Integrate > Advanced > Post Engine from Navigation pane.
- Click Post Adapter to view the data as it was submitted for the process post, and to submit the post again using one of the posting methods.
Field | Description |
POSTING ID | Displays the unique ID for the process post generated by Integrate. |
PROCESS ID | Displays the unique ID for the process generated by Integrate. |
COMMENT | Displays information entered about the process post on the Process Post page’s Vertical View on the Advanced tab. Integrate includes this text with every record of the process post. |
POSTED BY | Displays the user name of the user who posted the record(s). |
WHERE CLAUSE | Displays the where clause used by the process post, entered on the Process Post page’s Vertical View on the General tab. |
BATCH SIZE | Displays the number of records to be posted at one time if it was updated on the Process Post page’s Vertical View on the Advanced tab. If no value was entered, Integrate used the default of 100 records. |
POST START TIME | Displays the date and time the posting process began. |
CONTINUE ON COMMIT | If enabled, the script should continue with processing after a commit has occurred. This option is not available for posts using the BDC Post Method StandardSAPPosting. |
SESSION FILE NAME | Displays the names of the session file to create, used when the BDC Post Method is BOAFileCreation. |
BDC POST METHOD | Displays the method Integrate used when posting data. |
KEEP SESSION | If enabled, the session is saved in SM35 even after a successful post. Saving a session is useful in the event it needs to be rerun. This option is only available for posts using the BDC Post Method BOAPostingWithErrorSessionCreation and BOASessionCreation. |
GROUP NAME | Displays the name of the SM35 session to create. If the field is blank, Integrate uses >BOA. This option is not available for posts using the BDC Post Method StandardSAPPosting. |
NO DATA SYMBOL | Displays a symbol to represent there is no data in a field. |
FILE SPLIT INTERVAL | Displays an interval to indicate the number of transactions in each file created used when the BDC Post Method is BOAFileCreation. |
SESSION FILE PATH | Displays the location on the web server where Integrate creates session files used when the BDC Post Method is BOAFileCreation. |
CREATE GUI DEBUG SCRIPT | If enabled, Integrate creates a copy of the actual GUI script run against SAP and writes it to the Message table along with the results of the post. Only available when a process uses a GUI Script template. |
START TEMPLATE PRIORITY | Displays the priority of the template to start with when posting. This feature is used to debug process posts for a process with multiple templates. |
END TEMPLATE PRIORITY | Displays the priority of the template to end with when posting. This feature is used to debug process posts for a process with multiple templates. |
Post | Click to post the process post immediately in the foreground. |
View Authenticaion Post | This icon is not used. |
Background Post | Click to schedule a post to run in the background at the time entered in the Post Start Time field. Use this posting method when there is too much data to post in the foreground without timing out the session and to avoid putting too much stress on the system. If the Post Start Time is blank, the Background Post will run the next time the Scheduler Service page runs. |
